The Sunday, JAN 16, 2011 Sunday Afternoon Salon was both about v-anatomy and an impromptu discussion about the book, inspiring an all book-talk salon next month.Thank you all who attended!
the topic was:
- what we know
- what we don't
- why it's like that
the salon program schedule:
3:00 - 3:30 pm: We say hello, view the v-book, check out what I'm painting. Each in our way, we settle in.
3:30 - 3:40 pm: I introduce the topic.
3:40 - 5:00 pm: We discuss, debate, consider, delight, get disgruntled, listen, question <- your choice.
5:00 - 5:30 pm: We wind down: So, how was that? What do you think? I was wondering—what brought you here today?
5:30 - 6:00 pm: We disengage, float, exchange contact info if you like, say good-bye & thank you for participating!
what some of the salonistas had to say after the JAN 16, 2010 Sunday Afternoon Salon:
How was it?
"Revealing, inspiring and surprising. As always.
Impressed in particular by the audacity, involvement and precision of the remarks and suggestions for the book. They all were proof of much thought. It is never a boring bunch."
"a great thought provoking afternoon"
"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed attending your salon. A lot of intriguing ideas were discussed and my fellow attendees were an interesting bunch of people."
Thank you all for participating in conversations we don't usually get to have—and for being so passionately opinionated about the book!
